Hi I'm new to this heart valve voice forum.Bit of back ground info : congenital heart disease, bicuspid aortic valve severe aortic regurgitation and moderate stenosis.
My question is, Does anyone else experience upper back pain and constant discomfort in the ribs? , the back pain is always when laying flat (I do sleep with 3 pillows but not enough)
Is it worth going to the doctors about this or just casually mention at my check up in November at St barts?
Thanks for reading and take care. Any advice would be helpful 🙃.

Yes, definitely worth asking a doctor. You have some signs there plus a history for which I would want a doctor to get you a CT scan, if only to rule out some of the possibilities. If you can get Barts to do it all the better, they are a very experienced team there.
Thanks hun x yeah my next check up is about 3 or 4 months away so not to long to wait. Erm I'm having a cardiac MRI soon that should tell them if there's any concerning.
Yes, MRI would find anything. Tell them about the pains etc., strictly speaking it's the doctor who ordered the MRI who needs to tell the radiographers what to scan for who should be told about the pains etc
