Blocked ear

Hello, looking for a way to help unblock left ear which is causing anxiety issues for me. Been suffering with a sinus issue for past 5 months, but now since a few days ago accidently got a bit of water in the ear from showering which seems to have blocked the ear a bit, sounds sometimes like I'm in a fishbowl, I've seen doctor twice already for issue, she looked in ear and mentioned that it looks like fluid build-up. I've been driving up and down mountain roads around here, yawning, chewing gum, etc. , but still have it. Doctor said maybe see ENT. Finally made an appointment, but can't be seen until late June. I've never seen an ENT, so I don't know what to expect. Just looking for a way to maybe simply un-block ear without use of putting anything in there. Becoming really stressed, I know that doesn't help it.
