My daughter has peripheral neuroperthy .It is all pointing to an operation on her spine. She is under Miss Sophie Camp a Locum at Charing Cross Hospital How do I Find out if her surgeon is a good one. She is not on the Hospital list as she is a locum.

Good question! There are some websites in the U.S. (like ZocDoc) that provide user-reviews of doctors and other health specialists. But these types of doctor-rating services are still young and often limited. You can at least view Sophie Camp's research history here: researchgate.net/profile/So...

It won't tell you if she's a good surgeon or not, but it's the best we can find on what's available. The only other realistic option would be to ask around if you can find previous patients. Fingers crossed for a successful surgery and rehab!

So far, this has meant I have had the very best if care hospitals.
