That view you see is about two miles from our front door, basically our village is surrounded by... Nothing at all.

Stunning. We're a 5 minute walk from the town but lucky enough to have some beautiful green spaces within walking distance. There's the Mersey valley which covers miles of riverbank for walking or cycling ; very scenic with woods and fields hidden away.

And we have amazing parks, lovely woodland and of course the canal walks virtually on the doorstep. Difference here is that once peaceful havens have become so populated since lockdown that it's taken the shine off somewhat. 😯

We walked ten miles today and I can count on my fingers how many people we saw. However, I have 2more forming blisters...
