Hi Charlie, an interesting Ted talk ( the bonus being a French woman speaking English, just a tad sexy!) I've really been into dark choc' post BI, before I never hardly ate the stuff, its the one thing I'm wary of being without. Also the intermittent fasting has subconsciously found its way into my eating habits, not eating till after 4pm. The texture aspect is fascinating, I can only think soft diet is to easy to take in thereby denying the body of the stimulation of crunching sounds, having nearly always earplugs in I can tell you the sounds of eating can be very loud inside ones head, thanks for the link and post.
