Beautiful Alice. I was taking photos of the trees and fallen leaves in my back garden only yesterday to send to an elderly friend. It's true they seem to have been especially colourful this year.

I tried to capture the amazing sunset on Friday but photos can't seem to do it justice. I phoned my sis-in-law to alert her & she was marvelling at it as I was phoning. And we agreed that it was a rare sight. xx

how kind of you to post your lovely photograph- what beautiful colours.

I am enjoying kicking the leaves as I walk Dr. Badger and standing underneath the falling leaves as they drop silently- magical.

Dr Badger has discovered a love of picking up prickly sweet chestnut cases - not sure why - and running around with them to his great delight !

After a very windy day here the trees are almost bare. I shall miss the autumn.
