Good guess but it isn't Madonna. I can see where you were coming from, this person has a slight gap between her front teeth.

Although I hink Madonna's is more notable.

Is he not then? Thought it was all down to a little fruit n veg hidden in too tight trousers ;-)

That only leave dear old Amy. A massive talent lost.

Yes, congrats: I think Amy Winehouse too. Think got it BEFORE looking at others'! I can't do caricatures like that (sort of do what I call cartoons) so I know how hard they are to do, you're clever!

Thanks Muddled but the caricatures I post are my drawings but I copy them from pictures of caricatures from the internet.

Matt: open source?! I tried reading open source licensing for pix I do but WAY too complicated for me = think I prefer to put my pix out there and anyone can change/use them as they want = maybe?

But if it's your JOB = need to protect to earn money? Or put some out there as ads (portfolio/gallery to tempt) and hope that leads to commissions? SHOULD we credit orginator? How can you tell who's 'idea' it was?

All jolly tricky huh? Should we just all share everything coz then ALL can access/improve it, pass it on = faster development/more (= better?) ideas? Collaboration!

I often thought that if all the separate researchers shared ALL their knowledge & results we'd get cancer cures and LOADS of ideas/benefits faster. But money gets in the way.

I know I'm a bit of a silly old hippy sometimes and we need money, to earn it, a job. Especially coz benefits cause debt...

That's right, drawing for me is just a hobby right now.

I would like to get my pictures out there but I have to watch out for copyright fraud.

Oh I don't sell my work, I wish I could. I have done to friends but not the public.

I don't know who originally drew the caricatures and they would get more credit than me but because I post what I have copied using my very own skills, I would get credit for that and I would thank whoever it was who did the originals for giving me the ideas.

And not only is it money that gets in the way of these cancer cures, but it is very horrible people too.

If the orld was a much nicer place and there was no evil, corruption... So on, then cancer would most probably not exist.

Hi Matt, yes a hobby for me too, love it, always did but hard relearning. Had hoped to be able to work, sell my skills and earn a few quid but after 9 and a half years dunno how realistic that hope is: haven't even done any volunteering yet. Really struggling daily. And when bit better = do things for ME = VERY selfish, relax, take my mind off. Feel guilty very though. Am I a BAD person?

No, you are not a bad person at all.

You might feel guilty for doing things for you only but that does not mean you are selfish.

I think you'll find though that there are many people who think only of themselves these days.

I would say that the government are more selfish than you.

You have a brain injury, from the sounds of it you do everything you can to get by but people around don't listen or want to listen to you and aid you in the way they should. That is the real selfishness.

Thanks Matt. Am bit tearful, shaky, sick & anxious today and you made me feel a bit better. I question myself and what I do, think and say ALL the time.

Glad to hear I made you feel a bit better :).

Before I joined Headway in 2007, I thought I had nothing else going for my life.

If it wasn't for my parents I don't think I would be here.

I didn't get out the house a lot at all and whenever I did I would have to be with someone, mainly a parent or both.

I would always worry or think too much about where I would be going, how many people would be around, what the terrain would be like on my journey (would it be hilly or not).

Now I have been a member of Headway for 8 years. My confidence has risen, I go out much more (sometimes on my own), I don't think too much. In other words I just said to myself "Who cares about all that!".

I used to be worried that everyone would be staring at me cos of the way I look now but the thing is, people are mostly concentrating on where they are going and don't care about what others might look like.
