Two perfect MRI's as well as other main scan. Two-and-a half years down that chord. But still so very angry and sore.

This person seems to have a lot wrong with them as ive read all the posts. I also received a mail from this person saying id asked a question.

Very strange.

Can Headway please investigate this. It may be nothing but id like to make sure this is genuine and not let anyone fall for a scammer

Not sure whether I have replied before If I had a bit more brains Id be a half wit I am 3 years down the line from a very serious stroke nearly killed me its frightening to see the MRI just how much of my brain has died but I am hemiplaegic paralised all down the left had an op to put acrylic in to replace the piece they cut out I feel lucky I have no pain and I am happy well sort of I do the cleaning and polishing with my stick and work out in my sort of gym in a corner of my wife's workshop she has to put my hands on the equipment but I getting there writing has helped no end I used to hate writing but with my wife's help to check spelling and grammar I have hopefully helped someone else. I feel worth something also I have written some kiddies books but can't afford to get them published my first children's book is available on blurb bookstore it's the first of a trilogy the 2nd two are written waiting for my artist friend to do the picture sits called Four Acre Field by Peter Corfield the stroke books are on amazon kindle peters' Stroke Of Luck Part1'Part2 and 3 will be ready when finished and again checked by my wife when she has time as she spends a lot of her time caring for me. They are cheap and worth a look I must get the translated I only speak English and a tiny amount of frenchIts been hard living here having the health problems they might cut my head off if I can't understand them properly. Least I would lose some ugly weight then cheers

Forgot to say I had an epileptic fit my wife found me convulsing in bed but was riushed to hospital again! Now on medication bad thing they said no alcohol at first but my doctor said half a glass a day would be ok didn't say how big the glass could be. But I have been sensible about it

I haven't smoked since the stroke but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I've lost my motorbikes can't drive can't play guitar anymore people have said it didn't affect my sense of humour. I never had one.

No, pollyanne, she lives in Capetown and her English is usually ok.

Have messaged her but maybe she has memory issues. x

Well you're lucky in that respect.....most of us here have memory problems......I certainly do !

About your question, can you give a few more details about what's bothering you at present ? Otherwise it's a bit difficult to respond.

Regards :-)
