not really, statistics apply to populations as a whole and figures reflect how many people died. how many survived, it doesn't take account of personal qualities, genetics, luck. If you survived with these odds then you're in that 3%. So what?

can you expand on your posts as they just seem to be random quotes without any point to them

writing more than just a title might help

These posts make me smile, cos we've all been through so much, and everybody's recovery depends on the individual, what matters is how we cope and live our lives from now on, glass half full or empty time! Best wishes to everyone x Janet

it really is about survival against the odds-what is it that makes one person overcome these

odds or is it just luck given a certain set of events and circumstances?

Every TBI is different.

I was in a coma a week. Had to learn to walk again, balance, co ordination. I was virtually written off when in a coma and not expected to survive.

Gone on to trek across China and a World record charity abseil. Just passed grade 1 ice skating.

Everyone is different and i think age and luck play an important role but determination and support are vital.

Well done for being 3% (of what i dont know).

You want to be thankful as theres some ppl who dont fare so well.
