Cervix pain

Hi,

I have a burning pain in my cervix area which sometimes radiates to my right leg. There is no unusual bleeding or discharge, and I'm not pregnant.

I have an examination booked for next week and a smear test booked as well.

I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced similar symptoms persistently. What turned out to be the cause?

I do have a history of sexual abuse and trauma. I'm not sure if that's relevant or could be contributing to the pain.

I also have similar pains and the last time I had a pap smear and my results came back as this atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance which means

A finding of abnormal cells in the tissue that lines the outer part of the cervix. Atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance is the most common abnormal finding in a Pap test. It may be a sign of infection with certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV) or other types of infection, such as a yeast infection. It may also be a sign of inflammation, low hormone levels (in menopausal women), or a benign (not cancer) growth, such as a cyst or polyp.

I'm supposed to have another pap smear and an hpv test to get more
