Hi Lisa31SW,

I have both Grave's Disease and hyperthyroidism stabilized too. I had not lost weight when I was diagnosed and have probably gained ten pounds since. I don't eat much, so I know it's because I am not eating enough vegetables and fruit. I love veggies but do not like much in the fruit line. I have to walk everyday and still have a hard time to not gain weight. For me, it comes on easy and is really difficult to get rid of. I was a skinny kid and used to have to try to gain weight. Some how that has flipped in the last ten years. For me, I thought it was because I had my lymph nodes taken out (due to Cancer). My drs do not really know what to say. But if i walk every single day two times a day; I will lose a few pounds. Good luck to you.

I have been trying but didn't lose any either. I am thinking its because i retain water too often since having my lymph nodes taken on my right side. Something (some part of body) is always swollen or puffy. LMK if you find a way. My brother swears by alternating fasting; but honestly, with Barretts esophagus, I really don't think I can do that.
