Delighted to share this podcast with you all. Lou who is one of our moderators on this forum and a graduate of the Scottish National Residential Programme, talks openly and honestly about her pain journey. Lou discussed the benefits of the pain management programme and how this can help, not only those in pain but family members too.
I have to admit that I am not very familiar with listening to podcasts but decided to give this a go as I have been really struggling lately with my pain and health in general.
I really enjoyed hearing Lou recounting her story and wow, how much of what she said was so familiar with my experiences and emotions. I even had a little giggle once or twice.
However what it did do for me had me thinking and remembering my 12 week PMP and this has kind of spurred me on to make changes again and focus on my toolkit ( which I have to say has been kind of closed and "locked" up now for a while)
I try very hard to bear all the advice in mind and do try to keep things in perspective but things have been extremely hard for a while now and I had "dipped" quite a lot.
I personally did get something from this and in short, it has acted as a catalyst for me personally. I would definitely recommend this to any fellow PMPers to listen to this. It has boosted me and even if you don't get anything from it, it's worth a listen.
Thank you again and I hope this finds everyone doing OK.
