Hi Folks, got my letter inviting me to go get vaccinated yesterday, although i am extremely thankful to be given this opportunity, thought it'd be months before I heard anything about it.
I am now wondering what the after affect is going to be like, just about anything can cause a flare up in my Fibromyalgia, and I am wondering if it will affect my Hyper Mobility Syndrome too. I also have other health issues and wonder if they know your history before administering?
I have heard that if you are generally ok with the 'flu jab' then you should be ok with the vaccine, I'll let you know how i get on; but if anyone has any insight I'd love to hear.
Remember and be kind to yourselves, stay safe, keep well and be strong everyone!

I'm glad to hear you're getting your jag. I've no insight into how it'll affect you on top of your other health issues but its probably worth giving your gp a call... maybe some of the medical folk on here could help with that 1. I'd imagine you're usually in pain most days so having covid wouldnae be very pleasant. I reckon any short term pain would be worth it for the long term advantage to getting it.
Sorry for not getting back to you before you were getting yours, I hope it all went well for you.No, I had no second thoughts, I was concerned about how it would affect me, to be prepared; but really You just have to be ready to roll with whatever it throws up.
Not great, just a fare up in a few of my conditions, though I have been worse and it wouldn't stop me encouraging others to go get it. Not really looking forward to my second injection, but then again it might not affect me quite as bad, and at least I and my household have an idea of what to expect. How did it go for you, did/do you have any side affects?
