Well, hospital doctor as he was handing me a GBSS leaflet saying this would explain what was happening to Adam. I can't say he was truly informative about the charity but he gave me the method to find out more.

My granddaughter age 4 days died of GBS and my dauhgter -in-law contacted GBSS

well i was only informed by a consultant that was treating my newborn daughter in special care other then that i had never heard of this condition!

My daughter had Group B Strep. I had no idea what it was, but there happened to be a great article in the Twin and Multiple Birth Assoc Magazine 2004.
