Periods on Cerelle

I have been on Cerelle for the past 3 months and the first month I had a normal period, now - I’ve been on my period 5 weeks and getting concerned. I’m new to the whole contraception thing and I just don’t know if it’s a normal thing to be on my period for this long or not. Any advice would be appreciated if possible x

Hi Holly, I've had the same thing. I'm on week 5 now and I'm really not coping. I'm exhausted, now aneamic and don't know whether to come off it and hope it stops or work through it in the hope it settles. Did yours settle?

HEy! Unfortunately not, I’m now on week 10 (week 11 this Sunday) and it just won’t go. I managed to stop the pill for 2 weeks to see if anything happened but it didn’t then went back on it as my boyfriend was coming back from uni, just incase. I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago an they wouldnt allow me to go on the combined pill so they have me a double dose of Cerelle to ‘stop my period’ but nothing so far! I managed to stay off my period for a day over the weekend but that’s the only thing this whole time!
