4 years on the contraceptive pill, is my health at risk?

I've been on the combined pill for 4 years now and i'm starting to have doubts. Due to me being on the pill for so long, have I increased my risk of certain types of cancers or blood clots? Recently i've seen lots of news articles about women getting blood clots due to the pill and I don't want to put my health at further risk.
