K9 Terror,
Our 15 year olds are 25th in the world for math, reading and science... --see below:

That was not meant to be snarky... just more of the same in another place...
I think there are some things the US does well, and others not so much... Healthcare not so much... We were once the leader in so many things... I believe Healthcare is going to get much worse.... With workers getting burnt out in an uncaring system that is being overwhelmed, we will see how the system does going forward... How many older providers will choose retirement rather than soldier along seeing CoVid patients, etc...?? At this point, I am debating getting a license in Pennsylvania or filing for disability since I am not 65 yet... Agencies offer locum tenens assignments for RNs with some as high as $8,000 a week... They are not being filled as rapidly as one might think... The lack of mental health providers is even worse...
So... for everyone out there....
It ain't pretty in the city, baby...

K9 Terror,
Glad to see the post.... I know the administrative burdens are crazy in the US and tie up time and resources... Time spent with the patient has decreased over the years...
I hope everything is going well for you, and that you have everything straightened out and going your way... Fall is upon us soon, so batten down the hatches, Captain... A Howlin' Nor'easter may be headed your way... LOL...
