Hi everyone. I got my shielding letter from gov last week.
My husband works as an engineer in a food factory so is considered a key worker 🙈 his work are refusing to offer furlough and we can't afford for him to take this leave unpaid, even if we applied for universal credit. He's been isolating for 2 weeks but about to return to work. I also have a 5yo in the house.
How the hell are we supposed to manage shielding in these circumstances?
Anyone in a similar situation? How are you coping?
