I had my ec on the 19th nov had my et on the 22nd nov I did a pregnancy test on the 27 witch wss negative ive done 2 today and theres a bfp

My clinic date to test is the 5th dec so today is day 12 past my ec and 9 days past et theres not a lot of info really on the net it doesnt say much about getting a postive so early just it could be a false postive but I did a clear blue and its was negative on thrusday and now it says pregnant it cant be a false one can it x
I wouldn't of thought so with a digital clear blue, I think it sounds like good news for you :)x
There is a risk if you've had IVF that the drugs can cause a false positive, that's why clinics give you a specific date to test on, as they know that the drugs have lefft you and any positive result will be true. There is also the risk that the embryo has started to grow, but you are at the very early stages of pregnancy and it doesn't take, and that if you weren't testing very early, you wouldn't get that result at the end of the 2ww. On my 2nd round of treatment, I tested on my test day, and the next day and both were positive, but when it came to the scan at 6 weeks, there was nothing there, although the hormones were still in me - so a chemical pregnancy.
Sorry if I sound pessimistic, but it is very early days. Good uck - and test again on the 5th!!!!!
