What does hyperechogencity and echogencity mean on an ultrasound result

That is the ability of a tissue or surface to cause the ultrasound beam to bounce back, so hyper means it bounces more than normal. In the liver fat shows up as a "brighter" image so it depends upon what the term is referring to as to what it means other than more reflective.

They may interpret it that way but it is an indirect and quite crude measurement and suggests that more sophisticated testing is warranted
