Christmas is Coming...

Eldest when told that Christmas would arrive once all the chocolates in advent calendar had been eaten, asked if she could eat them all and then then it would be Christmas tomorrow.....

Once Santa Claus has visited us all and the New Year has arrived, The FASD Trust will be putting on a whole series of parenting workshops, across the UK, so watch out on their website for upcoming announcements. fasdtrust.co.uk.

In the meantime, I think I might go and eat a whole box of chocolates that the kids bought for me because they reckoned mummy needed them, don't know why - maybe it is something to do with having to provide a sheep outfit, a horse outfit, one Joseph outfit and one spider outfit............

Hi Joygirl - ahh the traditional spider outfit. How festive! :-)

We have had 'issues' with understanding not eating all the advent chocolates at once. My Mum took the genius step of buying one of those wooden advent calenders with little 'drawers' and puts just a couple of chocolate buttons in the drawer allocated for each day - and nothing in the other drawers. Will be trying this next year - if I can resist eating the buttons myself that is!

Have a great Christmas!
