does anyone know of a support group in or around Bristol if not how can we start one

The FASD Trust has a support group in Bristol, but the lady who used to host it was taken ill so had to stop. The Trust is therefore re-sorting this - if you want to volunteer to help, drop a line to familysupport@fasdtrust.co.uk and they will give details of the venue etc

yeah would love to volunteer to help in any way we can please send details on to us and will organise a get together to restart

Hello. We live just outside Bristol and would like to be involved in getting things re started with you guys. Don't feel confident to do it only so would be great to link up.

hey that's cool we are happy to do what we can and happy to arrange things etc etc if you fancy getting hold of us please do and if you know of others willing to be part of a group let us know or put them in touch with us .

That would be great. If I send you my mobile / email via personal message - is this ok with this form ? Am so happy to hear back from you. Hope we can get the group going as I have been wanting this for a while now. I do know one Mum I can tell for sure as we met previously last year.

I'm up for it as well, I have little knowledge on fasd but my lil boy has just been diagnosed. Willing to help and am desperate to talk with others in same situation. I need to knw there is hope for us both .I live 1 hr frm Bristol and drive. I am now a woman on a mission!

hi. there is hope and i found being around other supportive parents really helpful. my daughter also has a great team of fas aware professionals.i have learnt lots of strategiessome days they work but not the next. will be getting the bristol support group going -please come!

our little girl is 8 months old and has been diagnosed so we are new to all this too

but it does seem we are all in the same boat in the uk!!!! so the more of us on this mission the better hopefully we can learn and support each other
