Hi everyone. I was diagnosed 4 years ago to having this fantastic disease erythromelalgia given gabapentin and Zapane and basically left to deal with it due to no knowledge of the disease from the specialist. How can they diagnose someone without knowing nothing about the disease. Symptoms got worse so I have reduced the dosage over 6 months but seems to be coming back with vengeance. I'm 42 with other ailments under active thyroid, depression, carpal tunnel in both hands and tendinitis in left arm affecting my shoulders which they won't operate on my hands due to not being able to move my arms outstretched for long to undergo the operation. My doctor even said to me when an appointment for my daughter who has symptoms of erythromelalgia for the past 3 or 4 years even said if there is no cure then why and how do we treat you. Please if there is more anyone can suggest please reply. Xxx
