Hi amandajane, just spotted your post. I find that I am better in colder weather as my feet getting overheated in warm weather starts off a flare. What is it about winter that starts your flares? Dee

I have also entered into the vicious cycle of treatment for symptoms of rhaynauds triggering the erythromelalgia and vice versa. This is my first winter flare up and I'm finding it much easier to manage than the summer ones. Although my family isn't thrilled with living in an ice box lol. I find the numbness and aching bones of the rhaynauds more tolerable than the burning of the em. My dermatologist told me I can't have relief for both so treat the symptoms that bother you more. ... hhmmmm ....... was hoping for better advice
