Thinking back to when you were diagnosed, how long was it between first seeing your GP about your epilepsy symptoms and seeing a specialist?

Hard to say as I was 6 months old and my mum took me to the dr's
An emergency appointment was made for me at a neurologist the following day after seeing my GP, and further tests were done to explain the mild jerking (petit mal fits) and the next day the results came back - I suffered from epilepsy.
I was based in South Africa and specialists where few and far between. When diagnosed with epilepsy I lived in Zimbabwe... We had NO specialists! One had to visit South Africa to see one approximately a year later.
