Hi , I have epilepsy due to a cavernoma on my left temporal lobe. I have suffered with epilepsy for over ten years and have found it very difficult to cope with. I have refractory epilepsy so many medication don’t work for me. It’s been hard and challenging, but I have learnt to cope with my condition and deal with it on a daily basis. I have severe memory loss but still manage to hold down a job, struggling as it is I somehow ,manage it. Post it notes are a God send!

It took a while to accept it that I have epilepsy and to open up about it, I have become a recluse, have lost my confidence and self esteem but I finally got through.

If you have been newly diagnosed or have always had epilepsy I truly deeply understand. Good luck and God bless x
