Previously I mentioned after being discharged from hospital and informing dvla for driving after being granted my driver's licence back . Then less than one year later having to inform them yet again about epilepsy symptoms and not driving since October 2022. Today I received a letter dated 27th November possibly due to royal mail strikes. My licence has been granted yet again albeit medical issue with review every 3 years . After so long going around in circles I can hopefully start to forward plan yet again. The baby is due March time looking forward to that. After so long of so many dead ends or what if this / that. My recent mri follow up shows steady improvement with the remainder swelling since initial in april 2021. I will have to get another follow up around Feb 2023 time to reapply for my other entitlements 10 years no symptoms or medication

There’s a saying that good things always come in threes …. that’s got to be your MRI scan showing steady improvement, your licence being granted and the baby due to arrive in March . It’s a really positive start to 2023 for you . 😊

That’s great news! So pleased for you after the rough time you’ve had recently. Well done on finding your way round the DVLA system. I’m going through this at the moment because of my eye issues and so far have had three letters telling me I need to get my eye test (after I’ve done it and just waiting for decision. Which should be positive as I was told I was fine to drive by the optician! Sigh). . So lovely for you to be able to look forward, especially to the birth of your baby. We look forward to baby updates after March!

Have a lovely, looking forward again, Christmas and New Year. 🤶
