Has anyone tried a humidifier or air cleaning device? I have a problem at various times in the year with sneezing sore throat, dripping dry mouth in the morning and think it might help.

Humidifier

To keep a house, bed room free of dust, clean air is very difficult, this is because of what is in the air and cleaning chemicals . A humidifier can help, 24 hour use may be difficult due to H&S.
I have used one to help me in the past, the motor running is a problem, unable to sleep.
Washing bedding in soft allergy free liquid can help, do not tumble dry because dust is a problem.
Have a shower before going to bed. Even now when I get in to the bed room my problem stat, difficult to go to sleep. It also depends what food I had during the day as well.
Have a loo at Google to find a suitable device for you. Good luck.
Hi can I ask what foods you are allergic to? For the last 3 months I have developed allergies but need to pinpoint what it is that is causing it. I am going to try the allergy free liquid and showering at night though!
I am allergic to salicylate, this is in many food!!!
You need to keep a food diary, everything that goes into your mouth, and also any environmental things, like cleaning fluid, after shave, perfume, shampoo, etc....
This can be very difficult!. It took me a year to identify my problem, all my GP wanted me to do was to take antihistamine medication.
Felt tip pen can give me problem as an example. I only use one soap. I do not let the shampoo run down my face, Always over the head and back.
By keeping a diary helped me even a small reaction I used to write on my lap top XL file day and night.
