I loved my care work, but approx every 6mths i got signed off sick, i would boom and bust, now i just cant work, i do voluntary work if i feel up to it once a week. i really miss my work, and wouldnt even last a month now or even a week, its very frustrating and depressing

I know just how you feel sonia. I was an holistic massage and beauty therapist for12 years, and now im lucky if I can do the washing up. It is very depressing, I loved my job and meeting people, everyday was different, now I see no one.

I get you completely I loved my job but it was a case of leave or be pushed out I just couldn’t do it any more I felt I was a hinderance and not pulling my weight as I had slowed down so much. I feel very isolated at times as I can’t get out as I then crash and am ill. My job for the day is getting the tea on and that’s it and sometime I can’t even manage that. 😒
