from my understanding , people that suffers or have experined strokes, do deal with memory loss. just like some do with dyslexia.

nobody here could tell you yes or no to your question simply becuase we dont know you, medical history, and im quite sure non of us actually have the medical background enough to determine from here if its one or the other or both together. so i would say, go and talk with your doctor.

Have to agree with the above. Whilst forgetfulness may be symptomatic of both, this does need to be something you discuss with a medical professional. Hope you get the answers you need.

You'll need a brain scan to see if there's any damage from the stroke. A brain scan will not show damage from dyslexia :o) This always makes me laugh coz that's how they know dyslexia is not a medical condition!! We are all different but if you can't laugh about your memory problems go and check it out.

Thank you Joybird, Have had 5 brain scans in total, even an epilepsy test which was really awful, Also many other tests, but as yet they cannot find the cause, although they admit something is amiss. Just very frustrated with people laughing at me when i forget something I,ve just been told & with myself, weemikec
