I doubt it very much because she can still live an almost normal life. DLA is for people that have great difficulty with everyday tasks and not able to work etc.

have you been on the ncds website there is info on there on dla for hearing loss .

.i was thinking of trying myself as my daughter has hearing unilateral hearing and recent tests showed she had lost the little hearing she did have in her left ear and also diagnosed with dylexia but not just her reading and writing that cause problems for us but concentration and memory and sometimes like having a toddler back again instead of an 8 year old

How old is your daughter? Does she need reminding to do certain tasks like cook for herself, wash herself, get to bed at a reasonable hour, communicate with people?
