what is the mark betweenthe Y and the S in the word Harry’s.

It’s an apostrophe it is used to show belonging such as: There is Roy’s coffee cup. The use of the apastrophe ‘ showes the cup of coffee belongs Roy.

Where as the sentance. Where are the Roys? Refers to multiple people named Roy. So the use of the apostrophe can make a big difference in meaning when used in a sentence.

I hope that makes sense. I am not into proper grammar. I’m more of a numbers girl! Lol
