If a person develops a kidney failure and needs dialisis, is there an age where the NHS does not allow thdialisis?

There isn't an age limit when dialysis would not be provided. However, dialysis is a harsh form of treatment and it might be that a patient is not medically fit to go through dialysis and conservative management may be considered a better option. This means treating symptoms as and when they arise and careful monitoring. A low potassium diet might be advised and fluid balance. Having a fistula and travelling to and from frequent dialysis sessions may not be the best quality of life for some elderly patients.
