Hi, I have just reached stage V of chronic kidney disease and will be getting access shortly to start hemodialysis. I hope to continue working 30 hours a week. I don't know if this is possible.

Hi
Hemo is usually MWF for 4 hours treatment time. Add on connect/disconnect time which is about another 25 minutes. I have the 5am shift so I am out by 9:30am. I am off Tuesday, Thursday and then the weekend. You need to set priorities...job vs health.
Good luck...I hope you can work it out!
