Hi doreencook, your Renal Team should deal with your exit site. Have you spoken to them? It’s super important that you keep the exit site clean and under a dressing as you say you are, but please stress your worries to the team so they can put your mind at rest.

Good luck with your treatment.

Hi Doreen,

I had the same problem with my second pd tube, kept popping out, went to see my renal team, had to have it removed as I kept having a peritonitis infection (6times)had to stop pd and started Jx, now do it at home nocturnally every other day.

Speak with your renal nurse who will advise.
