am on antibiotics permanently for three month. specialist said may remove APKD kidneys surgically if squashing lungs. bit scared. HELP!

Hi

I have just had one 5kg pkd kidney removed which was my first ever surgery at the age of 57. it was alot easier than i expected it to be and would have the other even larger kidney removed tomorrow if i could

Hi poppydolly, thanks for reply. You sound really positive since operation. My specialist has taken scans to next meeting to discuss. Me never had surgery at all so am bit scared.will find out by June hopefully. Would be better with no infections.
