What plant based foods/meals/drinks do you have to help control blood sugars? Multiple choice.

Hi Leah, Thank you for another useful poll you created for DI community! 😊🙏

Water, legumes, nuts, fruits, greens… are great in general. As always we have to be mindful about portions and frequencies in food intakes. Glycemic index above 70 is considered high and watermelon is around 75 if I am not mistaken.

I treat my body as a whole so I’m mindful of blood pressure, blood sugar, pancreas, liver , kidney enzyme… all together because they are related. I’d like to share with DI community my 3 most powerful plant/fruit to maintain my good health:

1. Artichoke (artichoke heart, drink, extract aka silymarine)

2. Bittermelon

3. Asparagus

As always, please consult with your physicians when you follow/change any new diets/food/drinks/supplements intakes.

I take all the seven items, water on daily basis but other items when I need it, Cinnamon in cooking and boiled water.
