What low carb foods do you eat during the Spring months for better blood sugar control? Multiple choice.
I eat a big plate of salad π₯ of cucumber , lettuce ,tomato, red mooli and olives with my main meal.
Since most of them not available and are very expensive with the pension I get from government. I take fruits like Guava papaya etc
Do you turn them into a fruit salad?πππ
Yes. Also some grapes
Sounds good! Do you use Greek yogurt or cottage cheese?πππ
Thanks and kindly post this if possible as i am not able to do it. webmd.com/diabetes/news/202...
In UK, we can get most of Asian veg. There are two I use a lot, " In India, Ponnanganni is known as the βgolden plant.β" and Vallari, green leaves. today I read leeks are also good. I use leeks as well.
Do you put the leeks mixed in for a salad/main meal or do you eat them on the side?
We cook leeks in butter with salt and pepper, have it with other veg with roast chicken or oven cooked fresh fish. Cooked as a veg curry to have it with rice with other curries.
That sounds nice to have with fish and mixed in for curries. Do you have the leeks and curry once a week?
AS it is cheaper to but pre packed, we have it two or three times in small quantities.
