Blood sugars can be affected by the length/amount of sleep. How long do you sleep for and how well? This is a multiple choice poll.

I don't have Diabetes and so feel unqualified to take part in this poll.

Anyone can take the poll-- even if they don't have either Type 1or 2 Diabetes. How well do you sleep each night?

sandybrown profile image
sandybrown in reply toglo42

How many times do you get up?

glo42 profile image
glo42 in reply tosandybrown

I don't often need to go to the bathroom during the night. I wake around 3 or 4am but go back to sleep quickly until probably 7.00am (ish).

You get up around the same time I do. I got up around 6:30 or 7 am each day.😀👍

I hadn't read the post properly. Sorry about that. I sleep around 6 hours each night, but I do wake up for a short while inbetween. I hope this is helpful to the poll.

No sorry necessary for anything. This helps with the poll and also the polls are fun. :-)

I get either 6 or 6-7 hours each night depending on if my CGM alarms saying that I have to test because I may be going lower than normal.

I get sleep with dreams only

That’s a good idea for the evening. I drink decaf tea sometimes with meals and if I don’t feel good.😀

Adult Dyslexia is a hidden problem!,

You are saying this. "Not being very helpful I know but effected should be affected."

Which response are you referring?

(p&q) (b&d) (a or e) and so on.

I am Dyslexic, all my life I had problems, only after the age of 62 I went for testing!!!!

In UK there are many helpful organisation for testing adult Dyslexia.

The title - that is what I replied to and this is where my reply appeared.

I wasn’t making any reference to dyslexia because this is just pointing out the improper use of “effected” when it should be “affected’.

Sir, you are 80, enjoy one life. The reason for my question is you frequent going to P!!!

I used to look after my grand father when I was small. I will leave an d

Empty tin next to his bed an it will be full for me to empty in the morning !!. He lived to his late 80s. He did not have any health problems, only eye operation.

Do you eat good.? Are you on any medication?

What has your doctor suggested you to do during the night hours? When was your last appointment with him/her?

viswamitra profile image
viswamitra in reply toActivity2004

Suggested that no water should be taken after 5 pm. Last appointment on 29-11-2019 . Has prescribed some medicines for the problem and I am waiting to see the result. The question is why bladder is getting filled quickly during nights,Is there any connection with the position of the bladder while lying in the bed and quick filling of the bladder in that position. .Is there any effective treatment available in any system of medicine other than homeopathy for the symptoms

Activity2004 profile image
Activity2004Administrator in reply toviswamitra

Do you take any medication before bed right away?

sandybrown profile image
sandybrown in reply toviswamitra

Sir,, thank you. Now I understand your problem, thank you. Please consult your doctor. For kidney stones you can make a drink by boilin the very inner part of a banana plant and drink the boiled water, Flower , when it get small at the end of the banana bunch, make simple curry and eat it with rice, this can also help. Please check this with your local people.
