If you have had any type of surgery, did your blood sugars stay controlled? What did you do?

Before my prostate reduction surgery, I was on pills but doctor advised insulin to control the sugar. However, after a week he kept me on sitalgliptin tabs from normal Amaryl 1 tab.

Hi

I had a liver Transplant and as such my BSL went very high as expected. I was on Insulin - both types - for about three months as well as Metformin. Then I was taken off the boost insulin and then after a further three months off insulin completely 👍. After one year my BSL came down to pre- TP levels and then a month later I was told I could stop Metformin as well! Yippee 😁👍
