I am insulin dependent diabetic since 22 years am 54 years of age.

Rosuvastain 10 mg

Novarapid 16-14-10 before breakfast/lunch/dinner

Lantus 30 unit before dinner

But hba1c never below 10 please advise

Review your diet and eliminate non-essential carbohydrate. Replace it with healthy fat.

I haven't the remotest idea so I haven't voted. I'm afraid that the figures mean nothing to me.

All I do know is that sugar and sugar replacements have little or no place in our life. We use less than 1kg of cane sugar a year but do have a little marmalade on our toast at breakfast. We do need a trace of sugar in rhubarb and gooseberries when cooked.

Hi Tibbly, this is a very fair point so here's a BMI calculator, 18.5 is min and 25 max,

I'm awake now! When i saw your poll was under the "Stop Diabetes" heading I thought it was something to do with blood sugar. Of course it's "body mass index"; I'm 22, so i guess that's in the O.K. range.
