healthunlocked.com/alwaysop...
Thank you for setting this poll!
Provide best teach above diabetes.
It is very useful. However it may be necessary to analyse the details of research done especially in Indian condition by experts in this field so that a common man like me can understand and follow.
I could not understood diabetes'
So called research information is pouring in enormously. Unable to cull out fake one.
Recommend for natural foods for diabetic control and simple aerobatic exercises and yoga to follow (except walking).
daily i am gathering information do and donts for diabetics. now i feel i have good knowledge about maintaining sugar level thanks for health unlocked for giving me the opportunity to share information and gain knowledge about devil diabetics.
always i wonder why no one found the solution to produce insulin from pancreas.
Mainly there are three types of Diabetes.1. Type1...Diabetes...
2.Type 2 diabetes
3.Gestation diabetes.........It is a metabolic disease. No one can cure the disease completely. But,it can be controlled. It is not a hereditory disease. But the possibility of getting the disease is more, compared to others whose both parents are non diabetic.Fatty nature, usage of lot of medicines for some other diseases, sedentary life, lack of exercise, not taking food in time, late night food habits etc contributes a lot for the arrival of diabetes. Those who are having upper level of glucose on fasting, that is above105 are considered to be pre diabetic. They should take extreme caution to prevent diabetes.
Aglucometer is a good device to check diabetes regularly, but not always. If you have any doubts ,consult your diabetologyst and take medicine.Exercise and control of food is a must.Every six month.HBACI TEST could be done.Together with that blood pressure, cholestrol total as well as detailed should be checked, and controlled.Otherwise ,diabetes can lead you to Neuropathy,Retinopathy, heart disease etc
I n type 1 diabetes....no production of insulin and it starts at an earlier stage...In type 2,pancreas is not producing enough insulin..usually it happens at 40 or aboveGestation diabetes starts during pregnancy, those people are having a better chance to have diabetes later.
Dont '' worry......Have sugar free, nutitious diet on time.have enough exercise and enjoy your peaceful life.
I understand good but following diet and excercise is not able.
Detection of Diabetes and taking precautions is a blessing in disguise as
one starts following a more disciplined and systematic life.I feel that if people
will start following the same from beginning ,Diabetes will not even come near to
that person.
One should not neglect any disease but this disease is the one teaches u only one
thing i.e.BE DISCIPLINED
result of sedentary life style. Prevention is better than cure. How ever if Diabetes diagnosed , not to feel panicky, but to control diet , dietary habits & switch over to active life style. Keep sugar levels under control by Meditation Medication & Yoga. Best wishes

I am now nearing my 79th birthday. I was declared diabetic when I was about 43 years old meaning 36 years ago. I went to a doctor at that time treating diabetics with strict dieting for a year and some homoeopathic medicine for 21 days. I was debarred from eating anything sweet, sour (including curds, buttermilk, bread - because of yeast etc.), oily (including ghee, butter etc.) and starchy (like maida) foods. To make up for body lubrication in the absence oil&ghee, I was told to eat groundnuts. At that time my BS count was 445 mgdl. but after 1 year of strict dieting it came down to 115 mgdl without any medicine. After that I became a little careless as I was not fully aware of what diabetes is. As a result within 3 months my BS was 315 mgdl. Since then I have been constantly under some or the other doctor's supervision with lots of ups and downs. In 2013 I had a bout of hemathuria and was hospitalised for UTI. I was under so called expert guidance of a specialised clinic for a year. But after that I found my BS to have been raised to 403mgdl. Well, i am now again under a specialist and while my BS hovers between 64 and 250 mgdl my Hb1AC count is 9.4 which is very high. I always feel very sleepy and drowsy during the day but have problem having good sleep in the night. Can anyone guide me on this?
