Can any one help me with cure for diabetes. My mummy has been using tablets and insulin but no relief

Please consider the following suggestions and explain to your mom.

Management of sugar levels is a tough job but is not impossible if you realize that the task is essentially in your own hands. The doctor or dietician may guide you but ultimately it is you who has to put into practice all that has been learnt. Diet control makes maximum difference in a diabetic condition. Avoid sugar,sweets,and any food that is loaded with sugars like mango,banana etc. Also avoid vegetables like potato,beet, etc that grow underground and contain plenty of starch. Eat more of sprouts,vegetables and greens that give you fiber,minerals and vitamins. Eat less of rice,wheat and other cereals rich in carbohydrates and demand more insulin for converting to energy. The idea should be to reduce consumption by least 200 to 300 calories per day to gain significant results.

After diet,exercise plays a very important role. Last but not the least one should lead a stress free life style. Stress is a recognized trigger for diabetes. Practice relaxation techniques like breathing exercises,yoga etc.

You should go for quarterly check ups and annual comprehensive review with an experienced diabetologist and follow the prescriptions scrupulously

exercise more. i believe it. last month i trecked 35 km. when i went back to be tested with glucometer it had dropped from 14 to 6.4. take the right prescribed drugs by the right physician

Diabetes has no cure, it is controlled. One can lead a normal life if one adheres to dietary advice and medication plus exercise. I have had it for twenty-six years with no adverse effect. I am presently fifty-seven years.

Insulin and tablets is not enough unless it goes with the right diet and quantity of food. If the level of sugar produced from eating a hefty meal is in excess of what the mediation taken can control, then there is no work done. the medication taken should be able to control the sugar produced after eating. Remember, every type of food produces some sugar in the system when digested, and sugary foods are worst as it is sugar one is digests.
