I need to find a NHS Dentist.

Hi All,

This is my first post, please excuse the way this is written but I suffer with dyslexia and might make mistakes. I am hopping that some one will be able to help, I have not been to the dentist for over five years due to finances, I have have had two teeth brake over this time, one is OK but the other one is starting to hurt quite badly, and I also have blood on my pillow most mornings.

I know that there is other work that needs doing, I have been given some money by a charity to get the problem sorted but I cannot find an NHS dentist with in 20 miles of were I live.

I have been on the NHS Choice to look for a dentist and all the dentist seam are not taking any patients on, when you do find one that is taking on NHS which are miles away, and you call them they will take you on if you are on benefits, unfortunately I work and not able to this have this luxury, you phone others that are taking on NHS and they say you have to go in and register and then they will book you in for a check up in 6 months time, so I could be weighting for any thing up to 6 to 9 months before I even get my problem sorted out.

I even had one dentist who said that I was mistaken and the NHS Choice website does not say that they are able to take on NHS even though I was looking at it as I was talking to them.

Nearly every dentist offers to go Private, if I could afford to go Private I would not be in this situation.

If an animal was treated like this you could be prosecuted for cruelty to animals and even serve a prison sentence, but it OK to treat people like this.

Can you help me find a dentist who cares about people and not money, and before I have to do my own DIY dentistry.

Regards

John
