cochlear implant pros& cons ??

I’m wondering if anyone with hearing loss from virus, Menierie’s disease has had a cochlear implant and any negative results ?

I have Meniere's and a CI and it's been great. Admittedly it was a long time since my last vertigo attack, which would I think be the hardest but otherwise it was simple and easy and I was absolutely fine within 48 hours of the implant.
