Can you help us to understand what you're going through and what we should do if it happens to us?

It would really help others and myself to understand more and it's confidential, so please know this is a safe space to talk.

Thank you

Sending love

Hi Chloe, I am getting psychological therapy and it is helping me. After two and a half years, finally, the first part of the financial is to take place in February. At least the train is moving slowly, but it’s moving forward. I am still getting flashbacks. But hopefully I am beginning to understand what he has done to me. It’s a Slow progress, but after 30 years, I am beginning, slowly to allow myself to feel more positive about my future. Thank you for the work you are doing. I am sure that other people might be afraid to speak up because I found I was afraid to share what he was doing to me, because by not speak about it made it somehow unreal. But when I reached a point when I knew if I didn’t speak and share what I was suffering from, I could possibly have died. Speaking about it has opened my heart, my eyes my mind so the healing can begin. Thank you for everything you’re doing for people like myself have been physically mentally and sexually abused. God bless you love Liz🙏⭐️

Hi 1949liz

Thank you so very much for your reply, it gives me and others an insight into how each of us cope with this.

I think you're absolutely right, members are afraid to speak out and I can understand that, but we need to talk about this, to get it out there, to help each other. That way, we pick up tips and strength to help ourselves and each other.

It's such a slow process, and I'm wondering if it's the same for everyone.

I'm not at all surprised that you're still having flashbacks, they're horrible enough to cope with without all the extra stress of standing up and talking about it. But you're right, you needed to speak up and I just hope you have given others the the strength to do that, if it's only one person, it will be worthwhile.

Keep healing liz, and stay strong, we're right behind you! x

Thank you for your kind words, I really appreciate them and you x

For others reading this, please take strength from Liz and message us here, this is

your safe space.
