Which publication?

I cannot find an article for that specific date but I did eventually find some reference to a recent publication about a slight increase in risk of heart failure noted in association with Mirapex but it seemed to be confined to those over 80 years of age where the risk might be slightly increased in the first three months of treatment.? I haven't managed to unearth any other reports of adverse effects of this nature or any reports to the regulators. I did see that there might be other problems associated with very sudden withdrawal of the drug .... I am just thinking that you might want to seek the guidance (reassurance?) of your neurologist to put all this in context. As we all know all the drugs have side effects it seems it is always a case of trying to match up risk and benefits.

The ref I found is at Pharmacol Res. 2011 Nov 23. [Epub ahead of print]

Please do post other refs if you find them
