ive been invited by PD UK to an event for young people with pd in stirling (scotland) in september, its funded by the j macdonald menzies trust,

Anyone else going or have you been before. Ive not had the courage (or is it i havent faced the fact i have pd) to go to any support meetings. but if they help in anyway as much as this site it will be worth my while.

Hi Mitchdee

This looks like a PUK -Scotland event (found it on their site). I have been to a PUK - England weekend event two years ago. If i had the chance again i'd certainly go. They are good, hope you find someone else going ( or i could come in your suitcase)

well now...........LOL, let's first of all, make that bet !!!!!!! but be careful and don't bet too much as I for sure will win. Since I was diagnosed in 1998, the priority ummm people have priority people as you said,, sounds kinda snobby to me, but I will lwait patiently by my front door, for my "mail person"to bring me my invite..........and who will pay for my flight???????

NO

I have asked PUK to provide some more details for the members of this site. Personally I have been involved in 3 younger persons events held in Stratford as an organiser and speaker. I know how much people have gained from going, the experience has truly helped. So I would urge you to attend :-)
