I really depends on the type of financial help you need. A lot of churchs have "benevolence funds" that they give to people in need. That could be a great resource. A lot of utility companies (natural gas, electricity, water/sewer) have funds that other utility customers have donated to help with. My movement specialist has a Social Worker that works in her office and his only job is to help people like us find the resources we need for our families and ourselves.

Seeek out a PD Support Group. Ours has a Social Worker who is trained to help PD persons. I intend to seek her assistance if the time comes.
