I don't remember sleepwalking as a child but I definitely did as a teenager / young adult. Apparently I talk in my sleep sometimes now. I don't have any 'sleep disturbance' but I do have vivid dreams.

What do you mean by vivid Dreams?

I tend to wake up and remember my dreams. They're almost like stories and quite in-depth and complex. I can recall the conversations. Although they are sometimes bizarre, they are often very realistic. Occasionally, I've had to question whether something has actually happened in real life or whether it was in one of my dreams. A lot of people are like this though?

My husband who does not have PD has dreams like this.

Yes. Often. We could conjecture that the causes of sleepwalking are some of the long-term causes of PD symptoms.

My brother with PD sleep walked ...even dove into his closet one nite after taking swimming lessons and had a pump knot on his head in the morning. He had crawled back into bed , but his closet door was off the track, and my parents figured it out. They heard the crash and he was getting back in bed.

I did sleep walking as a child and as a teenager. But never thought about a connection to PD. Just thought I was extra tired.
